President Obama to Endorse Donald Trump for President

TRUMP TOWER- In an unusual turn of events, current United States president Barack Obama has announced that he will be endorsing republican candidate Donald Trump for the 2016 presidential election.

Typically, Presidents do not make endorsements for their party’s candidates until after the primary elections. President Obama has been known for breaking tradition. When asked about the endorsement for the opposing party he allegedly stated, “I believe that Trump’s policies make the most sense for America, he promises to make significant changes. I wish I had the guts he has.”

White House Press has refused to comment on the matter, apparently the announcement has caused a huge rift between the president and his wife, Michelle. Donald Trump has also refused to comment at this time, but Politico speculates that he will publicly gloat within the next 24 hours.
