Seattle University — Minutes after local student Paul Jackson purchased a new ID card after going without one for a month, they received an email from the Campus Assistance Center saying they had their ID card and they should come get it.
Jackson could not be reached for comment over the sounds of shouting and wall punching in their Campion dorm. “Frankly they sounded too angry to be disturbed” said Hard Copy intern and interviewer Matt Chesnut, “I am unpaid anyway”.
While the root cause of the delay in getting Jackson their ID card may never be known, it is widely speculated that OIT had gotten ahold of the card and had to run “scheduled maintenance” on the card and were going to have to shut down all campus cards in the following weeks in order to finish their task.
