10 Books we found in the MRC Coalition Library

Matteo Ricci College Occupation — In an effort to reclaim a space that the MRC Coalition has claimed has contributed to an ongoing racist and traumatic culture at Seattle University, the Coalition has encouraged the creation of a body of literature that has helped them deconstruct and unlearn many problematic aspects of American culture. Hard Copy, as a body that holds itself to the highest degree of journalistic integrity, took a look at some of these books. Though the sit-in ended last week, here are some of what we found:

  • I Agree with you and I always have, by Hilary Clinton

  • The Anarchist Cookbook, with foreword by Josh “The Anarchist”

  • Technology and How to Use it, by Head of OIT Dint Clicucs

  • We Came From Oakland: A history of CloroxTM, written by the Clorox Corporation

  • Father Steve Sundborg’s Top 300 Yelp Reviews, written by Father Steve Sundborg

  • Fiddler on the Roof II: Matchmaker’s Revenge, an unpublished screenplay by Malcolm X

  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar, written by Eric Carle
